Ashley Collins, PT, DPT

Ashley grew up in Winter Park, FL, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Florida in 2009 and went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Ashley found her passion for helping others after needing physical therapy following injuries of her own and knew she needed to pay it forward. Ashley utilizes her manual therapy skills to provide hands-on treatment along with corrective exercises to improve the human movement experience. She is also certified in Dry Needling and enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses, having worked with ages from 4 months to 98 years. She brings her positive energy and passion to the clinic to provide a fun, individualized therapy program to meet each person’s needs. In her free time, Ashley enjoys all the seasons Colorado has to offer from hiking and climbing to skiing. She loves spending time with her husband and their chocolate lab, and hopes to be able to travel the world more someday.
Emily Schwerdt PT, DPT

Emily grew up in Missouri and attended school for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. After graduating she worked for a year in Missouri before moving to CO with her husband and two dogs to pursue a more active lifestyle. She ran Cross Country and Track through high school and in college, and running continues to be a big passion of hers. Another passion is pelvic floor physical therapy, which she has pursued certification in since completing graduate school. She is passionate about helping women understand their body and not letting leakage or pain hold them back from living the life they want to live. She is a member of the APTA and the Academy of Pelvic Health. She pursued physical therapy because as an athlete she was injured often, and she realized physical therapy was the perfect field to help others learn how to help themselves and improve their quality of life.
Rachel Dinger, PT, DPT
Physical therapist
Rachel grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Slippery Rock University for her doctorate of physical therapy. After graduating, she moved to Indiana and worked for a couple of years, during which she pursued further training in vestibular rehabilitation. Rachel was first exposed to physical therapy as an athlete in high school and wanted to pursue a career where she gets to assist patients in achieving the best quality of life. Rachel moved to CO to experience hiking and skiing, as well as other outdoor activities available.
Katelyn Romine, PTA
Katelyn grew up in Arkansas and was raised on a small farm with livestock and poultry learning to work with her hands while young and gaining appreciation for a wide variety of trades. She later moved for college where she first acquired her Bachelor of Professional Studies in Organizational and Industrial Psychology. She began powerlifting while in college which really sparked her interest in learning about the human body as there was a stigma in powerlifting of “When you get hurt”. It did not make sense why people would participate in something expecting to get hurt so she set off to learn as much as she could to help herself and others be able to participate in strengthening activities without the fear or expectation of injury later gaining her Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant. She has been able to use her education in aiding her powerlifting currently holding State records in AR and CO and National records. She has a vast knowledge of beginner strengthening exercises to complex compound lifts. She loves being able to use this knowledge to educate people on benefits of strength exercises and carry over into every day acts of living.
